The high-end features and Sport Appearance package, which was earlier available only on select trims of 2009 Toyota RAV4, will be offered to more models in 2010. With this, many virtues which were exclusively enjoyed by the top-of-the-line trims in 2009 will be shared even by Toyota RAV4 base model in 2010. Sloane Champion Toyota, the premier dealer of Toyota vehicles in Philadelphia is happy to announce that the new decision helps the 2010 Toyota RAV4 base model to flaunt the backup monitor system with rear-view camera and monitor integrated into the electrochromic mirror. In 2009, the feature was available only on Sport and Limited trims.

Available in three distinct grades - Base, Sport and Limited, the 2010 RAV4 is offered with an engine choice of 2.5-liter four-cylinder that was new for 2009 and the V6 engine that can be paired either with front-wheel drive or electronic on-demand four-wheel-drive. For 2010, the Sport grade 4x2 and 4x4 models equipped with the 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine get the comprehensive Sport Appearance package. Earlier the Sport Appearance Package was limited only to 2009 4x4 V6 models. Now, with the Sport Appearance Package, the 2010 RAV gets a sleeker look, with an exclusive rear door design featuring chrome accents and no spare tire. On the safety front, the 2010 RAV4 gets a reinforced cabin, which includes front and rear crumple zones and energy-absorbing materials on the ceiling and doors. In addition to that, 2010 RAV4 comes standard with the STAR Safety System that includes Enhanced Vehicle Stability Control (VSC), Traction Control (TRAC) and Anti-Lock Brake system (ABS) with Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD) and Brake Assist (BA).
